i don't get why guys feel the need to "claim" chicks. not in the boyfriend/girlfriend sense. more like "that bitch is mine." and there tends to be more than one "bitch" being claimed. romance is completely out of reach. i can feel myself slowly giving into this mess. allowing myself to become some sort of territory because it's more familiar to me than holding hands or puppylove. when my parents were my age, they were "courting" each other. courting these days seems to only last a few hours into the night. either you become a knotch in the belt for each other or instant lovers/fuckers. we're such a greedy, fucked up generation.

the only real time i ever had my heart stomped upon was when a guy i loved told me i was no longer the girl he fell in love with. my passion for life and art fizzled as well as his feelings. i buried those thoughts and events far back into my skullbank, but they were recently brought back out. i no longer care about his existence by i do care that his insult still burns. and he's right. it's been a long time since his exit from my life, but i do realize how right he is. my passion for my work is still laying on this plateau of indifference.
it's been a shitty beginning of a year but now i'm feeling rejuvenated and as fiery as ever. i'm realizing how lame i've become. starting projects and never following through with them. i can't lean on anyone anymore. i can't blame anyone but myself. i've turned into a flighty character. and i HATE flighty people. it's too early in my life for me to give up/in.

i can blame it on the many years i've suffered in customer service, but i won't. i should be taking what i've learned from past shitty jobs and be able to work the system. work the people. charm your overpriced pants off!!!

dan says i should write a book. there's really no story behind what i would write. just typing out whatever goes on in my head. but none of it makes sense. i never fully make sense. maybe35% of the time a person can digest/decipher what i'm saying. basically i just ramble. or rant. usually rant. i'm considered an irritable character. i'm not always pissed off. i'm usually just slightly aggravated. but it doesn't mean i'm mad. i'm not going to hulksmash at the drop of a pin. i just say what's on my mind even if people don't know what's going, and then i go on with my dulled out life.
i think it'd be better if i just did a book on tape. just have paying customers listen to me talk to myself. or act like i'm a human that really wants your attention. it wouldn't be a book on tape then. just a tape of me being a bumbling stranger. maybe just record myself as i walk down the street. oh great, i've somehow turned into a crazy transient. i bet the batteries wouldn't even work in my tape recorder. nix this idea. i hate the sound of my voice anyway.
rewind and play back. i fuckin' sound like jeff spicoli. fuckin' valley accent that really shines through when i'm outside my sunny state.

that fruitcake was the most awesome friend to ever waste my time and money. probably the only man-type i could ever really be myself around. our fag-hag relationship lasted a good 5 years.he always called me out on the stupid shit i pulled. and i let him because he was the best. he was a great dance partner too. here's a picture of him the night we took a roll of toilet paper from the bathroom across from the organ pavilion in balboa park.
